Jim Cuseo, Design & Development Engineer

A graduate of MIT's mechanical engineering Master's program, Jim Cuseo joined the MagCanica team in January of 2007. While at MIT's Sloan Automotive Lab, Jim researched cold start fuel management in port-fuel-injected engines in collaboration with Ford, GM and DaimlerChrysler as part of the Engines and Fuels Consortium. He also acted at Chief Powertrain Engineer for MIT Motorsports, MIT's Formula SAE team. Before joining MagCanica, Jim worked for Ford Motor Company's Research and Advanced Engineering division working on a variety of technologies, from knock and misfire detection to engine calibration and control. His extensive automotive and engine controls background lends itself especially well to ongoing work with MagCanica's automotive clients on powertrain torque and rate-of-change-of-torque measurement.
